I thought I should post something more friendly in case anyone should wander by this lj for some reason. Um, hi!

I could tell about current fanfic activities, or lack thereof. The muse has been concentrating on RL tasks for the last, oh, six months or so. REALLY long dry spell! I actually have about 6 fics started that are just sitting there, fizzled, which is strange for me. I usually start one and keep on until it’s done, no distractions. It’s weird.

Haven’t been totally inactive, though. One thing I did was help Lady Ra finish up a story of hers. It’s called ‘The Night of the Improbability Affair’ and is a sequel to her wonderful ‘The Night of the Missing Cattle Affair’, both Man from UNCLE/ Wild Wild West slash crossovers. It’s in the zine ‘Sin and Salvation’, http://www.allslash.org/w3/ . Yes, I know, I don’t believe in zines, still don’t, but I mostly did this to help out Rari and that’s where it ended up. I’ll post it to the web just as soon as it times out.

Then I got inspired and in one day wrote a story for Lady Kardasi’s Slash Advent Calendar. It’s my first Harry Potter fic (Harry/Severus). I’m not to sure if it will be on Lady Kardasi’s site http://www.kardasi.com/Advent/2005/ , or on her stand-in organizer’s site http://www.corgi.slashcity.net/SAC05.htm , posted December 4th. I’ll put it up on my website on Jan 1, when it’s released from the Calendar.

Other than that, the fic I’m most active on (which means a couple of paragraphs a week!) is an SGA/ Numb3rs crossover. I’m determined to keep it gen for the time being. I love the Don/Charlie pairing but incest!fic is such a hot issue for some that I want to keep the story accessible to a wider audience. Now, if I ever finish this one the sequel might slip to the dark side.

Anyhow, all past fic can be found on my website: StoryGate http://www.geocities.com/joolz4me/Storygateindex.html
